Tinubu Appoints Two Young Leaders as Youth Ministers, APC Southwest Young Stakeholders Forum Commends Choice
The APC Southwest Young Stakeholders Forum(SWYSF) has expressed its appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Jamila Ibrahim Bio as Minister of Youth and Mr. Ayodele Olawande as Minister of State for Youth.
The Forum, in a statement signed by its Chairman, Hon. Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo, described the appointments as a demonstration of the President's commitment to the aspirations and capabilities of the youth.
The statement noted that Dr. Bio Ibrahim is a young and accomplished medical doctor who has served as the President of the Progressive Young Women Forum (PYWF) and as the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It also highlighted that Mr. Olawande is a distinguished community development expert and a prominent youth leader within the governing All Progressives' Congress (APC), who has proven himself through his service in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Innovation from 2019 to 2023.
The APC Southwest Young Stakeholders Forum's statement is a positive endorsement of President Tinubu's appointment of Dr. Bio Ibrahim and Mr. Olawande as Youth and State for Youth Ministers.
